Introducing a New Series!

We, at The Historical Cooking Project, are pleased to announce that in addition to our regular Tuesday and Thursday posts about the cookbook of the month, this week our new series of guest posts will commence.

Due to the growing popularity of the project, we have been approached by colleagues who wish to participate but are unable to physically attend the meetings. They have selected recipes from historical cookbooks of their choosing and will be writing posts that highlight some of the key themes of the book and the historical contexts of the recipe.

We hope you enjoy this new feature.
